e profissional (http://portal.ifro.edu.br/component/content/article?id=2383).
Nosso visitante teve a oportunidade de visitor o Campus
inteiro.
When you
see a vocational school doing a good job...
Last week
we were visited by Vinícius Tocantins Martins, he is in charge of Innovation
and Technology Department at IFRR. He came to IFRO to learn about process and
public calls for RD&I. Fortunately, we have many things to show about that,
as machines that were developed to help companies and other institutions in
Rondônia. But, I’m not writing about R&D, right now. I’d like to share
experiences about learning and students living a personal and professional
development (http://portal.ifro.edu.br/component/content/article?id=2383).
Our guest
had the opportunity to visit the whole Campus. He saw labs, meeting rooms,
classrooms and other facilities and, futhermore,
he was introduced to GP Mecatrônica team (http://www.gpmecatronica.com.br/). There
wasn’t any teacher to talk about the lab, researches, development or any other
activity. Thus, everything was explained for students. They demonstrated
communication skills, when they said what they did, how they did, why they did.
They also demonstrated professional skills for our guest, when they used
technical concepts and knowledge to present devices and space from that lab.
So, my
point is: you know that a vocational school has done a good job when students
can demonstrate their space and activities by themselves. Surely, our guest could
understand what a vocational education is. It is education for the future (#edu4f).
